Container Intelligent Tally System
"Container Intelligent Tally System" is an application system built based on Web technology, which includes a set of Web application platform with AI ‘Quay Crane Container Recognition System’ and ‘AI Gantry Crane Container Recognition System’. Helping container terminals to change the traditional manual tally process, realize the tally personnel can perform tally work remotely from the indoor control center. Effectively reduce the working intensity for the tally personnel, improve safety and improve operation accuracy. The AI Quay Crane Container Recognition System and the AI Gantry Crane Container Recognition System are using high-definition dome cameras with more than 2 million pixels to automatically track and capture the dynamic position of moving crane spreader and the container; record in video, enable the AI + OCR technology to recognize the container number, tractor license plate number, locate and identify container damage(if any), bay position on ship, and combined with real-time video streams and various business data from the terminal operating system , to achieve a complete loading and unloading tally operation process.
Tally personnel by using the system, can complete the tally work remotely inside the Control Office more efficiently and accurately. System can perform: real-time monitoring, recognition, matching, release, error interception and other functions automatically; realize real-time docking of tally data with the terminal operating system, real-time matching and verification of tally data with the ship cargo manifest, the operation plan, operation orders; perform instant rectification so as reducing tally error.
The most significant feature is the transformation of the traditional tallying work through technology, improving the tallyman’s working environment and safety; changing the operation mode of the original on-site one or two tally staff for one crane into one tally staff to look after two or more cranes. This helps the terminal to reduce the shipside labor cost and increase productivity.
