AI Reach-stacker Container Recognition System
Container reach-stacker is one type of container lifting equipment being widely used for loading and unloading containers; it is mainly used for stacking and mobilize containers inside or between container yards/depots. It has the advantages of being flexible, handy and ease of use, lower tire pressure, able to stack up containers to higher levels in stacks, so as to increase yard space utilization etc. It is popular in small and medium-sized ports, depots, railway transfer stations and highway transit stations as well as being used as supporting container handling equipment in large container terminals.
AI Reach-stacker container Recognition system is composed of an on-board computer, AI container number recognition cameras, and reach-stacker operation trigger monitoring device. When the reach-stacker operation trigger detection device receives the operation signal, the AI container number recognition cameras capture and identify the container number, container ISO number and other information through AI intelligent analysis video.
The system can be reliably and efficiently recognize the container number of the GB/T 1836-1997 standard, and can handle any kind of container number printing methods, including (but not limited to) one line, two lines, three lines, four lines or one column, two columns, etc.
It can handle all kinds of 20-foot containers and 40-foot containers, with average recognition rate greater than 95%.
The High-definition cameras are used to capture and identify the container number through video analysis, and the AI analyzes the photos containing the container number for output.
